Brat & Bacon Appetizer Pizza Recipe

Ingredients: 1 tube (11 ounces) refrigerated thin pizza crust, 4 maple-flavored bacon strips, chopped, 1/4 cup finely chopped

onion, 3 fully cooked beer bratwurst links, finely chopped, 1/3 cup apricot preserves, 2 teaspoons honey mustard, 2 cups shredded

white or yellow cheddar cheese. Turn the oven on to 400°. Pinch the crust to the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of a 15 x 10 x 1

inch baking pan that has been oiled. Takes 8 to 10 minutes to bake until sides are gently browned. In the meantime, saute the

bacon and onion in a large pan over medium heat, turning periodically, until the bacon is crisp. Using a slotted spoon,

remove and drain on paper towels. Throw away drips. Sauté and stir the bratwurst for two to three minutes, or until browned. Combine mustard and

reserves in a small bowl. Spread over the crust; add the cheese, bacon mixture, and bratwurst on top. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
