Do you wash white clothes in hot or cold water?

Although many people adore using hot water to wash whites because it removes

stains so effectively, hot water ages fabrics more quickly, so whenever feasible,

wash in cold water. You can use a hot setting on your washing machine if

the stain is really strong; however, this is dependent on the fabric, so make sure to

read the care label beforehand. Clothing will seem dingy and leave residue if

too much detergent is used. Clothes won't get clean if there is insufficient detergent.
