How long will fridge pickles last in the refrigerator?
The pickles will keep for a considerable amount of time—longer than the mix
packets claim. I've found that they keep for three to eight months, particularly
if you wash the cucumbers thoroughly with plain water (by hand), cleanse
the jars in boiling water for five minutes, and wipe the lids before
warming them. Of course, it also helps if your refrigerator consistently stays
at 33 F, which is just above freezing! In perfect circumstances, I believe they could endure a year.
