How To Make Rhubarb Lemonade Slush

Ingredients: 3 cups chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb, 1 cup water, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 cup vodka, 3/4 cup thawed pink lemonade

concentrate, 1 bottle (2 liters) lemon-lime soda, chilled. Bring the rhubarb, water, and sugar to a

boil in a large saucepan. Once the rhubarb is soft, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.

Cool a little. Blend ingredients until smooth; pour into a 1-quart freezer container. Add the vodka and concentrate lemonade and

stir. Freeze for at least eight hours, covered, until solid. Pour mixture into a pitcher and whisk in soda

to serve. Alternately, pour 1/3 cup of the rhubarb mixture and 2/3 cup of soda into an 8-ounce glass for each serving.
