No-Fry Fried Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients: 1 quart vanilla ice cream, 1/4 cup packed brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter melted, 1 teaspoon
ground cinnamon, 2 cups crushed cornflakes. Optional: Whipped cream and caramel ice cream topping. Turn the
oven on to 350°. Transfer 8 scoops of ice cream onto a baking sheet using a 1/2-cup ice cream scoop. For about
one hour, freeze until solid. In the meanwhile, mix cinnamon, butter, and brown sugar. Add cornflakes and stir.
Pour mixture into a 15 x 10 x 1 inch ungreased baking pan. Bake for 4–6 minutes, or until gently browned. Let cool
fully. Coat ice cream balls in the mixture of crumbs. For at least one hour, cover and freeze until solid. Garnish with chosen toppings, if using.
