What is the recommended protein intake for females?
Women have many physiological phases over their lifetimes. It thus needs different
quantities of protein. To satisfy the requirements, 0.8 grams of protein
per kilogram of body weight must be ingested each day. But
depending on their activity level and other factors including
breastfeeding, pregnancy, different amounts of protein are needed.
An adult female requires, on average, 45–50 grams of protein per day.
